WHAT TO EXPECT – YOUR TRIP ITINERARY:

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi

  • Early departure from Kampala.
  • Drive through the picturesque landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
  • Arrive at the lodge on the edge of the forest in the late afternoon.
  • Overnight at the Lodge.
  • Drive Duration: 4-6 hours.

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

  • Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
  • Begin the trek in the early morning.
  • Encounter gorillas in their natural habitat.
  • Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas.
  • Return to the base camp for a late lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

Day 3: Bwindi – Kampala

  • Depart early morning for the return journey to Kampala.
  • Stop for lunch en route.
  • Arrive back in the city in the early evening.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  1. Confirmation and a customized itinerary will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability.
  2. Not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with serious medical conditions.
  3. Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag.
  4. Not wheelchair accessible.
  5. A domestic flight to Bwindi can be arranged at an extra fee, subject to availability.
